Mastering homemade chocolate has been a challenge but after tips from a kind soul (shout out to EMMA) at @consciouschocolate last weekend @veganlife_live, @veganlife_mag, I’ve been able to nail it!

INGREDIENTS
- 60g cacao butter
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 40g cacao powder
- 2bsp carob powder
- 5 tbsp date syrup
METHOD
- Melt cacao butter in a Bain Marie
- Add coconut oil and melt
- Add cacao powder and Caron powder
- Stir in until smooth
- Mix in date syrup and vanilla stirring continuously until combined
- Pour into mould and leave in the freeze for 30 minutes to set
