Ingredients

Base

100g oat flour
100g buckwheat flour
120ml date syrup
100ml plant milk
1/2 tsp baking soda
50g chocolate

TOPPINGS

Hot cashew caramel drizzle (3 tbsp cashew butter, 3 tbsp coconut oil, 3 tbsp date syrup)
Cookie dough balls (see earlier post for recipe)

Some days you eat salads and go to the gym, some days you eat chocolate chip loafs and refuse to put on jeans. It’s called balance.

METHOD

  • Mix all dry cake ingredients excl chocolate
  • Add in milk and date syrup
  • Break the chocolate into small chunks and stir in
  • Pour into a small baking tray
  • Bake at 175 degrees for 15-20 minutes
  • For the sauce, heat all ingredients on low-medium for 2-3 minutes
  • Pour hot sauce over sliced loaf and devour alongside a chai latte 🍵
