Some days you eat salads and go to the gym, some days you eat chocolate chip loafs and refuse to put on jeans. It’s called balance.

INGREDIENTS

  •  100g oat flour
  • 100g buckwheat flour
  • 120ml date syrup
  • 100ml plant milk
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda 50g chocolate ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

TOPPINGS

  • Hot cashew caramel drizzle (3 tbsp cashew butter, 3 tbsp coconut oil, 3 tbsp date syrup)
  • Cookie dough balls (see earlier post for recipe)

      METHOD

      • Mix all dry cake ingredients excl chocolate
      • Add in milk and date syrup
      • Break the chocolate into small chunks and stir in
      • Pour into a small baking tray
      • Bake at 175 degrees for 15-20 minutes
      • For the sauce, heat all ingredients on low-medium for 2-3 minutes
      • Pour hot sauce over sliced loaf and devour alongside a chai latte 🍵
