CHICKPEA WAFFLES

6 ingredient soft and fluffy protein packed waffles. I whipped these up in literally 2 minutes (+ 2 minutes cooking time) and they're delicious sweet or savoury! Sweet with maple, choc chips, banana and berries or savoury with hummus, avocado and harissa!

INGREDIENTS

  • 110g chickpea flour (3/4 cup)
  • 240g plant milk (1/2 cup)
  • 30g mushed bananas (2 tbsp)
  • 2 tbsp coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Picnch of salt


TOPPINGS

  • Maple syrup
  • Chocolate chips
  • Banana
  • Freeze dried raspberries

    METHOD

    • Blend together all the ingredients.
    • Cook in a preheated waffle iron (sprayed with oil) until golden brown.
    • Pile them up, add toppings, drizzle with maple, and dig in!
