Rich, buttery creamy cheese spread made from the simplest wholefood ingredients. So delicious served on rye crackers, toasted bagels, crudités and topped with fresh herbs.

INGREDIENTS

  • 230g Raw Cashews (soaked in hot water for 1 hour, 1.5 cups)
  • 4 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 120ml Coconut Cream (1/2 cup)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or 2 Cloves fresh garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Dried basil or dill (Optional)
  • 2-4 tbsp nutritional yeast (according to taste) 

    METHOD

    • Soak cashews in boiling water for 1 hour
    •  Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender or food processor
    • Serve with rye crackers, toasted bagels and top with fresh basil
